Fujifilm FinePix Z3 Zoom: the ideal handbag companion
Fujifilm today announced the launch of its new FinePix Z3 Zoom, an ultra-chic compact digital camera, available in some cutting-edge colours - silver, metallic blue and light pink.
The Z3 Zoom will have particular appeal to female digital camera owners who have felt that performance is frequently sacrificed for the sake of style – it is accomplished enough to capture images of impressive quality, but small enough to fit into the tiniest of handbags. The distinctive design is only part of the story; the big news is that Fujifilm's renowned Super CCD sensor, combined with the company's Real Photo Technology Processor II, spells the end for spoiled shots.
Research has shown that the majority of pictures taken by women are 'people pictures' captured in low light situations at close proximity. Ironically, it is exactly these situations that spell trouble for conventional digital cameras. Their lack of low-light sensitivity leads to blurry results, or an over-reliance on flash, which kills the atmosphere and the natural lighting.
Unlike the usual sensitivity limit of ISO 400, the FinePix Z3 Zoom boasts a sensitivity range up to ISO 1600 at full resolution, which means that users are able to produce images with minimum 'noise', capturing crisp shots, even if memories are a blur! Furthermore, the new Anti-Blur button ensures that the FinePix Z3 Zoom operates with a much faster shutter speed than conventional cameras, reducing the effects caused by hand shake and subject movement.
Pictures may even make it to the mantelpiece thanks to the ingenious Intelligent Flash system that combines a clear, well-exposed background with natural skin tones on subjects in the foreground. This banishes 'ghostly' faces against dark backgrounds once and for all.
Additionally, the innovative Dual-Shooting Mode takes two consecutive shots (one with flash and one without flash) giving users the choice between the two pictures – almost like being guided by your own personal expert.
