British Journal of Photography Vision Event
This years Vision event for aspiring photographers will be taking place on Friday 7th November 2008, at the Business Design Centre, Islington. Vision is unique-no other event independent of colleges or associations creates a platform for young photographers to interact directly with those successful in the industry. Initially aimed at young photographers and students, the event is now increasingly attended by professionals in the field.
Previous speakers at Vision: Martin Parr, Antoine d΄ Agata, Rene Burri, Brian Griffin, Simon Norfolk, Anders Petersen, Stephen Gill with filmmaker Jon Ronson. This years’ speakers are yet to be confirmed.
In Past years Vision has attracted crowds of up to 1350 visitors. 2007 saw an Attendee Breakdown of 70% students to 30% assistants and professional photographers.
